⭐ ANCHORPAY — TERMS OF AGREEMENT (SIGN-UP CONTRACT)
By accepting this Agreement and creating an AnchorPay account, you enter into a legally binding contract with AnchorPay (“AnchorPay,” “we,” “our”). Please read this Agreement carefully before proceeding.
1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By selecting “I Agree” and creating an AnchorPay account, you expressly acknowledge, represent, and warrant that:
- You have read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to be legally bound by this Terms of Agreement, the full Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, and Stripe’s Terms.
- You agree that your acceptance constitutes informed consent to all dispute processes, liability limitations, platform rules, and user obligations described herein.
If you do not agree, do not use AnchorPay.
2. NATURE OF ANCHORPAY’S SERVICE
AnchorPay provides a platform that allows users to:
- send conditional deposits to one another;
- lock funds until conditions or timeframes are met;
- optionally initiate a dispute;
- receive a platform-level decision from AnchorPay moderators.
AnchorPay does not:
- provide escrow services,
- hold or safeguard funds,
- act as a trustee or fiduciary,
- insure transactions,
- guarantee outcomes,
- determine legal liability,
- intervene in real-world agreements outside the platform.
AnchorPay facilitates platform-level deposit direction only.
3. NOT A FINANCIAL OR ESCROW SERVICE
By accepting this Agreement, you acknowledge that:
- AnchorPay is not a bank, escrow agent, money transmitter, insurer, financial advisor, or fiduciary.
- AnchorPay does not hold, control, or have custody of user funds at any time.
- All payments are processed exclusively by third-party payment providers, primarily Stripe.
- AnchorPay’s dispute decisions only determine where the deposit is directed within the platform and do not constitute legal arbitration.
4. USER RESPONSIBILITY & RISK
You understand and accept that:
- You alone are responsible for choosing who you transact with.
- AnchorPay does not screen, endorse, or verify users unless required by law.
- Deposits do not guarantee honesty, delivery, or performance.
- Transacting with strangers carries risk, including loss of funds.
- You must exercise caution in any transaction or meetup facilitated through AnchorPay.
- AnchorPay is not responsible for fraud, misconduct, or misrepresentation by users.
- Your use of AnchorPay is entirely at your own risk.
5. PAYMENT PROCESSING THROUGH STRIPE
- Stripe processes all payments; AnchorPay never holds funds.
- Stripe may reverse or decline payments at any time.

Chargebacks may result in:
- loss of funds,
- reversed payouts,
- transaction cancellation,
- account suspension.
- AnchorPay is not responsible for losses caused by chargebacks, payment disputes, or Stripe actions.
6. DISPUTE RESOLUTION AGREEMENT
6.1 Moderator Authority
If a sender or receiver initiates a dispute, you agree that:
- AnchorPay moderators review evidence submitted by both parties;
- moderators make the final determination regarding deposit direction;
- decisions are based on evidence, platform rules, and internal policy.
6.2 Final and Binding Decisions
By accepting this Agreement, you acknowledge:
- moderator decisions are final;
- decisions are binding within AnchorPay;
- there is no appeal process;
- decisions do not determine legal guilt, fault, or liability between users.
6.3 Evidence Requirement
You must provide truthful, clear, and complete evidence when requested. AnchorPay may reject:
- falsified evidence,
- incomplete submissions,
- unverifiable claims.
Submitting false evidence may result in suspension or permanent removal.
6.4 Legal Disputes Between Users
If you disagree with a moderator’s decision, your recourse is to pursue the matter legally against the other user. AnchorPay will not reopen resolved disputes.
7. PROHIBITED USES
You agree you will not use AnchorPay to facilitate:
- illegal goods or services;
- drugs, weapons, contraband, stolen items;
- scams, fraud, impersonation, or deception;
- adult services prohibited by law;
- money laundering or structured payments;
- gambling, betting, or games of chance;
- coercion or extortion (“Send deposit or else”);
- political payments or campaign finance;
- cryptocurrency transactions;
- transactions banned under Stripe’s Acceptable Use Policy.
Violations may result in account termination, withheld payouts, or reporting to authorities.
8. ACCOUNT ACTIONS & SAFETY MEASURES
AnchorPay may, at its discretion:
- suspend or terminate accounts;
- freeze deposits;
- delay or withhold payouts;
- block transactions;
- require KYC identity verification;
- request documentation;
- report suspicious activity to Stripe or law enforcement.
These actions may occur without prior notice.
9. PLATFORM LIMITATIONS & LIABILITY WAIVER
9.1 No Responsibility for User Interactions
AnchorPay is not liable for:
- delivery of goods,
- performance of services,
- condition or quality of items,
- misrepresentation or fraud,
- user behaviour or communication,
- agreements made outside the platform.
9.2 No Guarantee
AnchorPay does not guarantee:
- the honesty of users;
- that goods or services will be delivered;
- that deposits will result in successful exchanges;
- the accuracy of information submitted by users.
9.3 Limitation of Liability
AnchorPay’s total liability for any claim is limited to the total platform fees collected for the relevant transaction.
You waive any right to claim additional damages.
10. PRIVACY AND DATA HANDLING
AnchorPay collects personal and transactional data required to operate the service. By agreeing, you consent to:
- data sharing with Stripe,
- fraud-prevention partners,
- moderation tools,
- law enforcement (where legally required).
AnchorPay does not sell personal data.

11. MODIFICATION OF TERMS
AnchorPay may update this Agreement at any time. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
For major changes, AnchorPay may require re-acceptance before continued use.
12. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Australia, or the jurisdiction in which AnchorPay operates.
Users waive participation in class actions to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Any legal dispute must be brought individually and exclusively in the courts or tribunals of the governing jurisdiction.
13. FINAL ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
By accepting this Agreement and creating an AnchorPay account, you acknowledge, represent, and warrant that:
- You have read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to be legally bound by this Agreement, the Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, and Stripe’s Terms.
- Your acceptance constitutes knowing and informed consent to AnchorPay’s dispute procedures, moderator authority, evidence requirements, and liability limitations.
- You understand that AnchorPay provides platform-level deposit decisions only and does not assume responsibility for the behaviour, honesty, or performance of any user.
- You accept all risks associated with interacting and transacting with other users, including the risk of financial loss.
- You understand and agree that moderator decisions are final, binding within the platform, and not subject to appeal or external review.
- You understand that AnchorPay does not hold funds, insure transactions, provide escrow services, or guarantee transaction outcomes.
- You confirm that any information you provide is accurate and that you are legally capable of entering this Agreement.
- Your continued use of AnchorPay constitutes ongoing acceptance of this Agreement and any permitted updates.
