💳 ANCHORPAY — FEES & CHARGES

Effective Date: [Insert date] Last Updated: [Insert date]

This page explains what fees may apply when using AnchorPay, and how payment processor fees (Stripe) and chargebacks can affect a transaction. It’s a transparency page, not a guarantee of final pricing.

Important
Stripe processes payments. Stripe’s fees, rules, and dispute handling can change and may apply independently of AnchorPay.

1. ANCHORPAY PLATFORM FEES

Current platform fee
1.6%
AnchorPay charges a 1.6% fee on all deposits when funds are deposited into Stripe.
When it applies
Deposit into Stripe only
This platform fee applies at deposit time. It does not apply just for browsing or holding a deposit.
Transparency
Shown before you confirm
AnchorPay aims to show the total cost before you submit a deposit, including any platform fee and applicable processor fees where possible.

The AnchorPay platform fee is separate to Stripe’s processing fees, which may also apply.

2. PAYMENT PROCESSING FEES (STRIPE)

Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe may charge fees depending on the payment method, region, card type, and risk controls. AnchorPay does not control Stripe’s fee structure.

  • AnchorPay may surface fee estimates, but final amounts may differ.
  • Stripe may decline, hold, or reverse payments under its own risk and compliance rules.
  • Some payment methods may be unavailable depending on your location.
Note
If you need exact processor fees, refer to Stripe’s published pricing for your region and payment method.

3. WITHDRAWALS & PAYOUT COSTS

Withdrawing funds may involve payout fees or timing rules determined by Stripe and your payout method.

  • Payout timing can vary (for example: standard vs. instant payouts, weekends/holidays, bank processing times).
  • Some payout methods may carry additional charges (for example: instant payout fees).
  • AnchorPay may apply safety holds or verification checks before a payout can proceed.

4. CHARGEBACKS, REVERSALS & DISPUTES

Chargebacks and payment disputes are handled through Stripe and card networks. They can affect funds that were previously thought to be settled.

  • A chargeback can reverse a payment, even after a deposit is marked as completed.
  • Stripe may apply chargeback fees and may require additional evidence or documentation.
  • AnchorPay is not responsible for losses caused by chargebacks or processor reversals.
Heads up
A platform decision (moderator outcome) does not override Stripe’s chargeback or reversal outcomes.

5. DISPUTE MODERATION FEES

AnchorPay may (now or in the future) charge a fee for dispute moderation, especially for repeated or abusive dispute behaviour. If enabled, any such fee will be shown clearly before you submit the dispute.

AnchorPay may also restrict access to dispute tools if there is evidence of misuse, harassment, or fraud.

6. TAXES

You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or reporting obligations related to your use of AnchorPay (including transactions, income, and business activity). AnchorPay does not provide tax advice.

7. CHANGES TO FEES

AnchorPay may update fees from time to time. If fees change, AnchorPay may update this page and may require in-app acknowledgement for material changes. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated fee policy.
